Traditional Services

A Service as Meaningful as the Life it Honors
There's something deeply important about gathering, about standing together in the same room, sharing memories, shedding tears, and beginning the long work of healing. Traditional funeral services provide exactly that: a place and a moment for the people who loved your loved one to come together and say goodbye.
At Coker Family Funeral Home, we believe every family deserves a service that feels right for them, one that reflects who their loved one truly was, fits their budget, and gives everyone present something to hold onto.
Visitation
Visitation is a time set aside for family and friends to gather, grieve together, and offer one another comfort. We'll help you make it as personal as you'd like: a tribute video, meaningful displays, cherished photographs, or items that capture who your loved one was. Whatever helps the people who loved them feel close to them one last time, we'll make it happen.
Funeral Service
A funeral service can be held in our chapel, a local church, or any location that holds meaning for your family. We'll work closely with you to design a service built around your loved one's life: their stories, their music, their faith, the things that made them who they were.
For families who prefer not to involve clergy, our funeral directors are honored to lead the service. Rev. Steve Coker brings more than two decades of pastoral experience to every service he leads, so whether or not your family has a church home, you'll be in caring, experienced hands.
Graveside Service
The graveside service is a final, intimate moment of committal: a chance for family and friends to say a last goodbye before their loved one is laid to rest. Whether you envision a small, private gathering or a larger group of family and community, we'll help you shape a committal service that feels personal, peaceful, and complete.
